This rack is really sturdy-- it snaps into it's upright position and maintains a solid stature. I had purchased a wooden drying rack from BB and Beyond. I had it for about a week and it snapped in half! I'm very please with this one. The price was right too. I'd highly recommend this product.

Nice materials--the dowels and supports are clean, snag-free, good looking. The biggest drawback to this piece is the fact that the dowels "lock in" to the side supports by sliding into an opening that has no locking mechanism. So anytime you grab the dowel (say, to move the rack or to open or close it), the rod easily slips out of place. Surely this was designed to make the rack easy to assemble, which it is; the problem is that you can't keep it assembled because the rods come out of their holders at the slightest touch.

Had to be assembled and did not include the proper pieces. Called the company to see if they would send me the correct piece and they did not return my call.
Needless to say I returned the item. There are better clothes drying racks that come already assembled in the same price range.
